Bob has taught/guided in adventure based learning and experiential education in the field and in classrooms for over 40 years mostly at McMaster University. His first involvement with Trails Youth Initiatives in the 1990's was encouraging students to work at Trails. For many students Trails was a first and excellent beginning in youth work. Later Bob joined the Board of Directors with the belief that the special longevity model (4 seasons, 4 years, 4 life) was superior in guiding youth "for life."
