After over 30 years with Bank of Montreal in Human Resources, John retired. While with the Bank he was the Chairman of the Ontario “Fountain of Hope “ (the Employee giving Foundation) where he continued with his volunteer work with several Charitable organizations in the GTA. This role enabled him to become more aware of the needs of many Charitable Organizations in the Toronto Area.
John has been a volunteer with several Organizations including Bloorview Childrens’ Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Out of the Cold Programme, and Rotary International where he is currently a Member of the Rotary Club of Toronto Eglinton - he served as Chairman of the Youth and Vocational Committee, Foundation Chairman and is a Past President of the Club.
John continues his work with Trails after serving as its Chairman from 2010 - 2016 and is now its Secretary.
